ABOUT FIRST FRIDAY HATBORO
First Friday Hatboro debuted April 4, 2008 after nearly a year of exploration and planning. The program evolved after a Hatboro business owner brought the idea to the Vice President of the Retail Merchants’ Division of the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce. An exploratory committee composed of business owners and chamber representatives was formed and, after gaining the counsel and encouragement of the founders of the successful First Friday Doylestown program, it surveyed the business community to assess interest in bringing the event to Hatboro.
The idea was met with great enthusiasm and, as momentum grew, the exploratory committee became the planning committee and now includes representatives of all facets of the Hatboro community.
First Friday Hatboro operates under the auspices of the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce and is always looking for new faces and new ideas.
